Here is a quick video walkthrough of how to get started with Freed:
Step 1) Create a Freed Account
Sign Up: Go to https://secure.getfreed.ai/signup.
Enter Your Email: Provide your email information (no billing information is required).
Start Your Free Trial: Enjoy a 7-Day Free Trial to test out Freed’s features.
Step 2) Capture Your First Visit
Freed works by capturing the audio of your patient visit, creating a full transcript, and then automatically generating a SOAP note from that transcript. When you’re ready to start, follow these steps:
Open Freed on a desktop web browser or app.
Select “Capture Conversation” and begin speaking to your patient. Be sure your microphone input is correct.
Select “End Visit” when you’re done with the conversation. Freed will now begin processing the note.
Step 3) Edit the SOAP Note
Once you’ve ended the visit, Freed will process the note based on the transcript. This may take a few minutes depending on internet speed and visit length. Once ready, you’ll find the note in the left-hand menu under All Notes.
To refine your SOAP note, you can:
Change the Visit Type to use a specific format for that type.
Edit the Content Manually: Type directly to add or adjust information.
Use Magic Edit to add information or make bulk edits.
Select Learn Format to save customizations for future notes.
It’s important to review the SOAP note thoroughly to confirm all necessary information is complete.
Tip: You can view the entire conversation in the Full Transcript by navigating to the Transcript Summary section at the bottom of the SOAP note.
Step 4) Upload to EHR/EMR
Freed is designed to work seamlessly alongside any EHR using a copy-paste approach.
Once you’ve reviewed and finalized your SOAP note:
Copy the Note:
Option 1: Use “Copy All” to copy the entire SOAP note.
Option 2: Use “Copy” for individual sections to paste specific parts into your EHR.
Paste into EHR/EMR: Open your EHR system and paste the note directly where needed.
