Here are the step-by-step instructions for using Freed AI to streamline your clinical documentation process:

Freed operates by instantly capturing the audio during your patient visit, generating a full transcript from the recording, and then creating the SOAP note based on that transcript. When you are ready to begin with your patient, open Freed and begin capturing your conversation.
You can use either your phone or your computer with the app or directly on your web browser to capture any in-person or telehealth visit. Freed needs to remain open for the entire duration of the conversation. However, please note that Freed is not currently compatible with headphones as it requires access to both sides of the conversation to transcribe accurately.
1. Select "Capture Conversation"
2. Begin speaking to your patient or following the example script. Ensure your microphone input is correct.
3. Select "End Visit" once you are finished speaking

Once you select "End Visit" above, Freed will begin processing the note. This may take up to a few minutes depending on your internet speed and the length of the visit. Once the note is finished processing, you will be able to select it from the left-hand menu under "All Notes".
To modify your SOAP note, you can take any of the following actions:
Change the Visit Type (to utilize your Learned Format for that Visit Type)
Manually type to edit/add any information to the note
Change the Pronouns, Patient/Client, or Note Length
Use Magic Edit to add any additional information or make edits in bulk
Edit the note and then select Learn Format to customize your notes moving forward
It is important to review the processed SOAP note, make any edits you require, and ensure the note is complete and includes all necessary information.
You may want to also view the Full Transcript to see the entire conversation word for word by going to the Summary section at the bottom of the SOAP note.

Freed does not currently have any direct integrations with any EMR or EHR systems.
However, we're designed to work alongside every EHR via the copy-paste functionality. Once you have reviewed the SOAP note and made any necessary edits, you can then easily copy the whole note or sections of it and paste it into your EHR.
