Note: pre-charting is only accessible for patients with more than 1 saved visit in Freed. If their previous notes are deleted, Freed is unable to summarize their chart.
How to Use Pre-Charting in Freed
Click "Start a visit" and Select the Patient's Name
Enter a patient’s name to pull up their profile before the visit.
Review Patient Insights
Freed generates one-line summary of the patient along with top insights from their past visits.
View Follow-Ups
Review the list of follow-ups from previous visits to plan for their upcoming session.
Explore Past Visits
Ask Freed about the patient, and quickly get key details from the patient's chart.
Capture Conversation
To capture a new conversation, select "Capture Conversation" to start recording.

Why don't I see pre-charting information available for my patient?
Freed automatically generates pre-charting details for any patient with at least one previous visit saved in your Freed account. If you're not seeing any pre-charting details, this could indicate that previous notes were deleted or that the patient's name may have been misspelled.
Are patient details from previous visits integrated into new notes?
Are patient details from previous visits integrated into new notes?
At this time, Freed can only generate a note based on the exact transcript of the conversation associated with the visit, and doesn't yet have the ability to integrate details from previous visits into the current visit.
