Freed's pre-charting feature is designed to help you save time, improve preparation, and enhance the quality of AI-generated visit notes.
Pre-charting is only accessible if the previous notes for that patient are still saved in your account, and have not been deleted.
If the previous notes are deleted, Freed will be unable to pull in context from the prior visit, including details such as the Patient Background, Follow-Ups, or Last Visit Summary.
How to use Pre-charting in Freed
Click "Start a Visit" and Select the Patient's Name
Enter a patient’s name to pull up their pre-charting profile.
Review Patient Background
Review the one-liner summary of the patient’s history, including key health conditions, pertinent risk factors, and problems being addressed.
View Follow-Ups
Review the list of pending action items or tasks identified in previous visits and ensure any follow-ups are addressed in the upcoming session.
Read the Last Visit Summary
Quickly review the high-level recap of the patient’s last visit, including the reason for the visit and diagnoses, interventions, and recommendations.
Capture Conversation
To capture a new conversation for this patient, simply select "Capture Conversation" while on the patient record and use Freed as you typically would.

Why don't I see pre-charting information available for my patient?
Freed automatically generates pre-charting details for any patient with at least one previous visit saved in your Freed account. If you're not seeing any pre-charting details, this could indicate that previous notes were deleted or that the patient's name may have been misspelled.
Are patient details from previous visits integrated into new notes?
Are patient details from previous visits integrated into new notes?
At this time, Freed can only generate a note based on the exact transcript of the conversation associated with the visit, and doesn't yet have the ability to integrate details from previous visits into the current visit.

Only details from the most recent patient visit are shown in pre-charting details. Older visit information isn't yet able to be integrated into the pre-charting details.
