How to Get Started with Freed

Step 1: Create a Freed Account

Sign up for a free 7-day trial at https://secure.getfreed.ai/signup.

Enter your email address and create a password to set up an account. No credit card needed. Click Create Account to get started.

Step 2: Capture your first visit

Proceed through the onboarding to familiarize yourself with Freed.

Freed works by capturing the audio of your patient visit, creating a full transcript, and then automatically generating a SOAP note from that transcript. When you’re ready to start, follow these steps:

  1. Open Freed on your web browser or mobile app.

  2. Click Start a Visit and enter your patient's details.

  3. Click Capture Conversation and begin speaking to your patient.

  4. Click End Visit when you’re done with the conversation. Freed will now begin processing the note. Depending on your internet speed and visit length, the processing time may take a few minutes.

Step 3: Review and edit your SOAP note

Once ready, you’ll find the note in the left-hand menu under All Notes.

You can review and edit your freshly-generated note. Some things you can do include:

Always be sure to fully review the generated note for medical accuracy.

Step 4: Transfer your note to your documentation solution

Freed is designed to work seamlessly with any EHR, EMR, or other documentation solution through a simple copy-paste functionality.

You can also use the Freed Google Chrome Extension to export your note into your EHR.

If you're part of a group plan, you may have access to a direct integration to select EHR solutions.
