If you're part of a Group Plan in Freed, you’ll have access to the Team Library—a shared space where clinicians on your team can view and use each other’s Structured Templates. The Team Library makes it easy to collaborate, share best practices, and standardize documentation across your clinic.

Click “Template Library” located in the bottom-left corner of your screen below your list of notes.Option 2: While viewing a processed note
Click the Template dropdown in the top menu. At the bottom of the dropdown, select “Template Library.”Option 3: During Pre-Charting
When selecting a template before starting a conversation, open the Template dropdown and scroll to the bottom to access the “Template Library.”
Once inside, navigate to the Team Library tab to browse templates shared by other clinicians in your organization.
Adding a Team Template to Your Library
To use a template from the Team Library:
Go to the Team Library tab.
Locate the template you want to use.
Click "+" (“Add to My Library.”)
The template will now appear in your My Library and be available for selection when starting or editing a note.
Customizing Someone Else’s Template
If you want to personalize or modify a shared team template, follow these steps:
In the Team Library, click “Add to My Library” for the desired template.
Go to My Library where the template now appears.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the template name.
Select “Duplicate.” A copy will be created with “Copy” in the name.
Click the three-dot menu again on the duplicated version and select “Edit.”
Use the Template Builder to customize the template’s structure and content to your needs.
Click Save when finished.
This process ensures that you don’t overwrite the original team template, while allowing you to tailor the structure to your specific workflow.
