The Freed Library is a collection of pre-built Structured Templates created by our team to help clinicians get started quickly and efficiently. Each template is designed based on clinical best practices and tailored to the specialty selected in your Freed profile.
You can use these templates as-is or add them to your personal library to customize them according to your workflow.
How to Access the Template Library
There are three easy ways to access the Template Library:
Option 1: From the Freed Dashboard
Click “Template Library” in the bottom-left corner of your screen, beneath your list of processed notes.Option 2: From a Processed Note
Click the Template dropdown at the top of the note. Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown list and select “Template Library.”Option 3: During Pre-Charting
While selecting a template before starting a conversation, open the Template dropdown and scroll down to find the “Template Library.”
Once there, select the Freed Library tab to explore all templates created by the Freed team.
Using Templates from the Freed Library
To use a template from the Freed Library:
Navigate to the Freed Library tab in the Template Library.
Browse templates created for your selected specialty.
Click "+" (“Add to My Library”) to bring the template into your personal My Library.
Once added, you can select that template in My Library and use the template as-is or select “Edit” to customize it in the Template Builder.
These templates are a great starting point if you're new to Freed or looking for inspiration to build your own structure.
Navigating and Sorting the Freed Library
Within the Freed Library, you can tailor your browsing experience with built-in navigation tools:
Sort By: Use the dropdown at the top of the list to sort templates by Template Name or Specialty.
Rows Per Page: Adjust how many templates you see at once by selecting 10, 25, or 50 rows per page in the bottom-right corner of the page.
These features make it easier to scan through available templates and find the ones that best suit your needs.
Updating Your Specialty
The Freed Library automatically filters templates based on the specialty listed in your profile. If you want to see templates for a different specialty:
Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of Freed.
Select “You.”
Scroll to the Specialty section and update your selection.
This will refresh the Freed Library to show templates aligned with your new specialty.
