While it isn't possible to replay audio from a conversation, you can access the full word-for-word transcript. This can be used to review patient conversations and any specific details from the session.
Step 1: Open a Note
Open a processed note from the schedule flyout β hover over the side-nav rail on the left to reveal the visit list, then click the visit.
Step 2: Open Transcript
Open the Transcript view via the ... (More options) menu on the note applet. Here, you can review the word-for-word transcript of the conversation that was recorded. While you can't edit the transcript, you can select and copy the text from it.
The full transcript shows the word-for-word transcription of the recorded audio conversation.
If you see random or unknown text, this may indicate an issue with the audio recording. Please check your mic setup to ensure it is free from any interference or obstructions, and that it is properly connected to your device.
Once a note is generated, the audio file is deleted in a HIPAA-compliant manner. Freed cannot provide audio recordings of visits. The transcript text, however, is retained for the note (so you can revisit the word-for-word conversation as long as the visit exists in your account).
We're improving how notes are created to better distinguish who is speaking during a visit. This helps reduce situations where clinician and patient statements might be mixed up in the note β especially helpful in visits with multiple speakers. You may see clearer speaker labels in the transcript section for some of your visits.
