In this article, we describe Freed's EHR Integration Beta features and outline the steps to get started.

What is EHR Integration?

Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems are digital versions of patients' paper charts. They provide real-time, patient-centered records that make information available instantly and securely to authorized users. Integrating Freed AI with your EHR system means you can streamline your clinical documentation process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

EHR Integration at Freed

Freed is partnering with Vim, a leader in EHR integration infrastructure, to bring you new capabilities that streamline the process of transferring notes to your EHR. Powered by a Chrome Extension and other software that you download, our EHR Integration enables

  • Seamless Workflow: Access Freed without leaving your EHR (no need to open a separate tab or window)

  • Efficient Documentation: Push Freed notes to your EHR in 1 click (no need to Copy and Paste)

Currently in Closed Beta

The EHR Integration is currently in closed beta and is only available to select paid subscribers at this time. Look out for an announcement when it is more widely available.

Supported EHR Systems

Currently, Freed supports integrations with the following EHR systems, with plans to add more in the future:

  • Athena

  • eClinical Works

  • Practice Fusion

How much does Freed's EHR Integration cost?

Because the EHR Integration is currently in closed Beta, there is no added cost at this time. When it is released more broadly, there will be an added cost with a Free Trial option.

By integrating Freed with your EHR system, you can enhance your practice’s efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and focus more on delivering quality patient care. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
