Introducing: Resume Visits

Add more to your visit, anytime -- even after creating your note.

Updated over a week ago

With the new Resume button, you can reopen a past visit and continue recording — even if you’ve already clicked “End Visit.” Whether you forgot something, need to add a late detail, or your patient followed up with something new, you can now append additional content to your original note without starting from scratch.

What's New?

Before this update, clicking “End Visit” meant the session was closed — you couldn’t go back to dictate or add anything new via audio or live conversation. Now, with Resume, you can:

  • Record a quick follow-up

  • Add new findings or clarification

  • Capture something the patient forgot to mention earlier

No need to start a new visit or manage multiple notes — everything stays together in the same place.

How to Resume a Visit

The Resume button is located in a familiar location, where the Capture and End buttons are already located.

  1. Open the visit you want to add more details to.

  2. Click the Resume button at the top right corner.

  3. Start speaking — Freed will record the additional details just like a new visit.

  4. Once you’re done, click End Visit, which will regenerate the entire note and integrate the new details into your SOAP note.

That’s it! Your existing note will be updated with the new content, and you’ll still have full control over editing.
