How to Pre-Chart with Freed
Updated this week

Freed's new pre-charting features are designed to help clinicians save time, improve preparation, and enhance the quality of AI-generated visit notes. Follow these steps to get the most out of Freed's Pre-Charting workflow.

Step 1) Select "Start A New Visit" and Add/Select the Patient's Name

Enter a patient’s name to pull up their pre-charting profile. If the patient is new, create their profile to start building their record and initiate conversations.

Step 2) Add or Update Pronouns

Enter or update the patient’s pronouns to ensure notes and correspondence are accurate.

Step 3) Review Patient Background

Look at the one-line summary of the patient’s history, including key health conditions, pertinent risk factors, and problems being addressed.

Step 4) Check Follow-Ups

Review the list of pending action items or tasks identified in previous visits and ensure any follow-ups are addressed in the upcoming session.

Step 5) Read the Last Visit Summary

Quickly review the high-level recap of the patient’s last visit, including the reason for the visit and diagnoses, interventions, and recommendations.

Step 6) Capture Conversation

To capture a new conversation for this patient, simply select "Capture Conversation" while on the patient record and use Freed as you typically would.

Freed’s pre-charting feature ensures you’re organized and prepared for every patient visit. By leveraging these steps, you’ll save time, feel more prepared, and improve the quality of your clinical workflow. Reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
