Note Preference Options

  1. What is your preferred note length?
Choose how detailed you want your notes to be:

    • Concise: Optimized for clinicians who manage a high volume of notes

    • Standard: Optimized for clinicians who prefer more narrative in their notes

    • Elaborate: Optimized for clinicians who have fewer but longer visits

  2. How do you refer to the person you are caring for?
Select whether you refer to the person you care for as a "Patient" or "Client" in your notes.

  3. What consent language should be included in your notes?
Add consent language to the Subjective section of your notes. Options include:

    • None

    • Standard: "Patient consented to the use of Freed to record and transcribe notes during this visit."

    • Custom: Add your own consent wording.

  4. Note Storage
Choose whether your SOAP notes will be automatically deleted 30 days after capture or retained indefinitely (until manually moved to the Trash). From here, you can also Reset your Personalization.

Note: These preferences apply at the account level and will affect all future notes created after the changes are made. Adjust them to fit your workflow and documentation style.
