Freed Subscription Plans: What Each Tier Includes

Freed offers several subscription plans designed to support different clinician workflows, from lighter documentation needs to full-scale clinical and team use.

Below is a breakdown of what’s included in each plan to help clinicians choose the option that best fits their practice.


Starter: $39/mo

Best for: Clinicians with lighter documentation needs or those new to Freed.

Includes:

  • Access for one clinician

  • Up to 40 notes per month

  • Specialty-specific customizable templates

  • Core AI note generation and editing tools

  • Live support

Starter is designed to provide essential Freed functionality for clinicians who see fewer patients or want to get comfortable with the product.


Core: $79/mo

Best for: Most individual clinicians who rely on Freed regularly.

Includes everything in Starter, plus:

  • Unlimited note generation

  • Live onboarding to help clinicians get started quickly

  • AI clinician assistant for editing
    · Instant template builder

Core is the most popular option for clinicians who want unrestricted access to Freed’s AI documentation capabilities.


Premier: $119/mo

Best for: Clinicians who want advanced workflows and deeper automation.

Includes everything in Core, plus:

  • EHR push integration (browser-based EHRs)

  • Prior visit summaries and context pull-forward

  • Instant patient instructions, letters, and referrals

  • Patient context pull-forward to incorporate historical data into new notes

  • AI clinician assistant with medical knowledge base — answers sourced from 50+ medical sources with linked citations

  • ICD-10 coding (and CPT codes in beta)

  • Coding assistant — CPT, ICD-10, and E/M code suggestions with post-visit optimization

Premier is ideal for clinicians who want Freed to handle more of the post-visit and follow-up workflow.


Groups

Best for: Clinics, practices, and multi-clinician organizations.

Includes everything in Premier, plus:

  • Medical Assistant users (in alpha)

    · Admin dashboards and custom configurations

Group plans are designed to support clinical teams at scale, with administrative controls and shared workflows.


Free Trial

Freed also offers a free trial where users can take advantage of a 7-day free trial to truly experience the features of our Premier offering and full functionality of Freed before moving forward with a full subscription. No billing information or commitment is required for the free trial.


Cancellation & Refunds

You have the option to cancel your Freed Plan at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your full Freed account until the end of your current billing cycle. Afterward, auto-renewal will be turned off, and you will no longer be able to capture new visits with Freed.

Please note that Freed offers both monthly and annual subscription options to accommodate clinicians' preferred time commitments. As part of our policy, we do not offer refunds by default for any cancellations.


Discounts

We offer our Premier plan at $119/month, however if you pay annually, an Individual subscription costs $1248/year, equating to $104/month.

Freed is happy to offer up to a 50% Student Discount on the Monthly Plan for students, trainees, or fellows. Eligibility is subject to review by the Freed AI support team. To qualify for the student discount, you must provide proof of enrollment, such as a valid student ID, transcript, or training badge, along with your expected graduation or training end date.

FAQs

What should I do if my student discount is not showing correctly?

Ensure you have selected the Monthly Plan during checkout. The student discount does not apply to the Annual Plan. If the issue persists, double-check the application of your discount code or contact support for assistance.

Can I renew my student discount?

Yes, you can renew your student discount by providing updated documentation, such as a photo of your student ID with your expected graduation date. Once approved, you will receive a new discount code.

What if I subscribed before applying the discount code?

If you subscribed before applying your discount code, contact support to have the discount manually added to your account. You will receive confirmation once the discount is applied.

To apply, please email [email protected] with your proof of enrollment, training end date, and a valid student ID or training badge.

Once reviewed, we will issue a personalized discount code valid for the duration of your training. Please note the Student Discount is only available for subscriptions made directly through Freed and not via app marketplaces.

  • If you’ve already subscribed at the standard rate, contact support to have the discount manually added to your account. You will receive confirmation once the discount is applied.

To apply your discount code during checkout, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Freed AI website at getfreed.ai.

  2. Start the subscription process and select the Monthly Plan.

  3. Navigate to the section labeled Subscription > Sub-Total > Add Subscription Code.

  4. Enter your discount code in the provided field.

  5. Complete the subscription process to ensure the discount is applied.


Subscription Management

For the best pricing and subscription management experience, we strongly recommend subscribing directly through Freed rather than through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

When subscriptions are handled through these third-party platforms, all subscription management—such as cancellations, refunds, or billing adjustments—must be managed directly through Apple or Google and cannot be supported by Freed.

Subscribing directly with Freed allows us to provide more personalized support and assistance for any subscription-related needs. Rest assured that subscriptions purchased through our website fully integrate with the Freed mobile app, ensuring seamless access across all platforms. Freed subscriptions can also be managed across multiple devices, including iPads, as long as your subscription remains active.
