When you are a group admin for a Freed Group Plan, the User Management page serves as your dashboard for inviting, removing, and managing users in your account.
Access the Admin Settings page
Navigate to the bottom left corner of your homepage. on the small cog icon.
Select Members from the admin window.
You'll be brought to the Admin Settings page, where you can manage existing users, or add new users.
Enter the new user's preferred email address, and designate their role (Clinician, Admin, Assistant)
Select + Invite another to send individual invites to multiple users.
Once completed, just select send invite, and a link to join the group will be sent to each identified user.
Alternatively, you can send an invite link or copy a unique invite link to share with clinicians by clicking the Copy invite link button.
Depending on if an invited user already has a Freed account, there may be additional steps.
If the Invited User has an Existing Freed Account
If the invited clinician already has a Freed account (whether a trial or paid individual subscription), they will follow one of these paths:
If the invited user is already logged In:
The user can either click the invitation link in the email or simply log in to Freed.
Once logged in with the same email address the invite was sent to, a dialog automatically opens titled "Join {groupName} on Freed" with a single Join button.
3. Click Join to complete the process.
If the user is not yet logged in:
Clicking the link in the email invitation will direct them to the Sign Up page.
They should select "Already have an account? Sign In" and log in.
3. Once logged in with the same email address the invite was sent to, a dialog automatically opens titled "Join {groupName} on Freed" with a single Join button.
4. Click Join to complete the process.
If the user has an existing, paid subscription, their Individual Plan will be canceled, and they will receive a prorated refund automatically.
If they subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, they cannot join the group until they cancel their existing app store subscription and let it expire — Freed does not manage third-party billing, and the user is blocked from joining a group while an active app store subscription is on their account.
All notes, settings, and formats remain intact—only the billing transitions.
If the Invited User does not have an Existing Freed Account
If the invited clinician does not have a Freed account:
Clicking the link in the email invitation will take them to the sign up page.
They should create a new account and complete onboarding.
3. Once logged in with the same email address the invite was sent to, a dialog automatically opens titled "Join {groupName} on Freed" with a single Join button.
4. Click Join to complete the process.
