Managing your Freed Subscription
Updated over a month ago

Freed offers flexible subscription options for various needs, from free trials to individual plans to group plans. Here’s a guide to managing your Freed subscription at each stage:

Starting a Free Trial

If you’re new to Freed, you can start by creating a free trial account to explore the platform and test out its features—no credit card is required!

Use this link to start your trial: https://secure.getfreed.ai/signup.

Upgrading from a Trial to an Individual Plan

When you’re ready to upgrade from a Trial to an Individual Plan, you can do so directly from your Freed account.

  1. Navigate to Your Profile: Log into Freed, go to your profile in the upper-right corner, and select Subscribe. You can also select Subscribe from the top navigation bar. Both options will lead you to checkout.

  2. Choose a Plan: Follow the checkout process to select a Monthly or Annual Plan.
Note: All plans are set to auto-renew until you choose to cancel.

Transitioning from an Individual Plan to a Group Plan

Upgrading from an Individual Plan to a Group Plan can also be done self-serve from your Freed account.

  1. Invite Team Members: Go to your profile in the upper-right corner and select Invite Team.

  2. Add Users: Click on Invite Users and enter the email addresses of the clinicians you’d like to add. You’ll pay for each additional license at this point.

  3. User Activation: Each invited clinician will receive a welcome email from Freed:

    • If they don’t yet have a Freed account, they’ll be prompted to create one and join the group.

    • If they already have a Freed account, they’ll simply need to accept the invite to join your group.

Note: The clinician will not be fully added to the group until they accept the invitation, although billing will occur as soon as the invite is sent. If the invited user is already on an individual plan, their existing plan will be automatically canceled, and a prorated refund will be issued when they join the group. All of their account data, notes, and preferences will remain intact.

Expanding an Existing Group Plan

If you already have an existing group plan with a set number of licenses and want to increase your license count, this is the exact same workflow you’ll follow. Simply invite additional clinicians as outlined above, and they’ll receive an invitation to join. Once you enter their email address, you'll confirm the changes to your billing and can send the invites.

Removing or Switching Seats on an Existing Group Plan

As an Admin, you can easily manage, remove, or swap out users on your Group Plan:

  1. Access Subscription Management: Go to your profile in the upper-right corner and select Subscription to see a list of users currently in the Group.

  2. Remove a User: To remove someone, click Remove User next to their name. If no replacement is needed, you’re all set.

  3. Add a New User to an Open Seat: If you want to assign that seat to someone new, first remove the current user, then go back to Invite Users to invite the new clinician to join.

This streamlined process allows you to control seat allocation efficiently, whether you’re adding new users or transitioning existing ones.
