What happened to the Magic Edit feature, and how can I access its replacement?
The Magic Edit feature in Freed Scribe has been replaced by the Clinician Assistant, a more versatile tool designed to handle complex editing requests. This change enhances the flexibility and functionality of note editing within the application.
Transition to the Clinician Assistant
Instead of using the Magic Edit feature, you can now type your editing requests directly into the Clinician Assistant chat, located next to your note. For example, you can request, "Edit the HPI to be more concise" or "Turn the Assessment & Plan into bullet points." The Clinician Assistant will process your request and update the note accordingly, offering a more dynamic and user-friendly experience.
Platform Availability
The Clinician Assistant and other AI-powered editing features are available in the web and desktop versions of Freed Scribe. However, these features are not currently supported in the iPad app. If you are using an iPad, you can still access the Clinician Assistant by opening Freed Scribe in a web browser, such as Safari or Chrome. Simply sign in to your account, and you will have access to the same AI assistant. Your notes will remain synced across all devices.
Benefits of the Clinician Assistant
The Clinician Assistant provides several advantages over the previous Magic Edit feature:
Enhanced Flexibility: Allows for more complex and specific editing requests.
Improved User Experience: Offers a conversational interface for seamless interaction.
Cross-Device Syncing: Ensures your notes are updated and accessible across all platforms.
By transitioning to the Clinician Assistant, Freed Scribe aims to provide a more powerful and intuitive tool for managing your notes.
