Learned Templates: Teach Freed your preferred note structure using one of two methods: enable the Auto Learn toggle on the template (found in the Template Library) to have it update automatically after each visit, or manually click the Learn format button in the visit view to apply your edits on demand. This ensures future notes follow the same style.

Learned Templates: Use Auto Learn or the Learn format button to teach a template your preferred note layout and sections from your own edits.

AI Chat: Make one-time changes to a specific note by opening the AI Chat and providing instructions (e.g., "Organize HPI by complaint" or "Change HPI to sentences instead of bullet points").

To switch to paragraph form: Use Learned Templates to teach Freed your preferred style. (Structured Templates can also enforce paragraph formatting, but they are being sunset and are not available for new accounts.) For a single note, use the AI Chat and instruct it to "Make the HPI section a paragraph."

To switch to bullet points: Similarly, use templates or the AI Chat to adjust the format.

Use Learned Templates to teach Freed to avoid including direct quotes or extraneous information in the HPI section. Add specific instructions like "Avoid using direct quotes from the patient."

For a single note, use the AI Chat to remove unwanted content.

Use the AI Chat to insert a missing section, such as "Risk," into an existing note.

Edit the Learned Example for your template to include the desired details and date formatting. Freed will apply these changes to future notes.

Check the HPI section in your template. If it contains only minimal content, edit and expand it to include the desired level of detail. Regenerate the note after updating the template.

Create a new Learned Template or use a prebuilt template from the Template Library to ensure therapy sections populate correctly. Apply the updated template and regenerate the note.

Template Management: Regularly review and update your templates to ensure they align with your documentation needs. Delete old examples with unwanted formatting to improve future results.
