We're currently testing a beta version of a new feature called EHR push in the Freed Chrome extension. It's designed to make note transfer even faster and more seamless.
EHR push is a powerful button that automatically maps and transfers notes from Freed into AdvancedMD.
How to use the Chrome Extension
Follow the steps below to install and use the Chrome Extension with AdvancedMD.
Important: AdvancedMD launches as pop-up, therefore it is important to launch it as new tab. Workarounds:
For Windows: Click on the top bar, then right-click and click Show as tab.
For Mac: Click Window in the menu bar, then click Show as Tab.
1. Install our Chrome extension
To use EHR Push, install and pin the Freed Chrome extension:
2. Open AdvancedMD as a new browser tab
Launch AdvancedMD, then locate and click Window > Show as tab on your browser to launch the Freed extension overlay.
3. Record your visit and push
Record your visit, review, and open your patient's chart in AdvancedMD. Click Push to EHR while viewing your patient's note in Freed, and your note will transfer automatically.
