Permanently deleting your Freed AI account is handled by our Clinician Support team to ensure all your data, including notes, is completely and correctly removed. Whether you're on a free trial or have an active subscription, this guide outlines everything you need to know about permanent account deletion.
What Happens When You Delete Your Freed AI Account?
When you request permanent account deletion:
All your data and notes are permanently deleted. Freed AI ensures that all your personal information and stored notes are removed from their system once the request is processed. This policy applies universally, whether you are a trial or a subscribed user.
Free trial users can request deletion without subscription cancellation. If you're currently on a free trial, no additional cancellation steps are required since there is no active subscription. Once Clinician Support processes your request, all data and notes are removed.
Steps to Permanently Delete Your Account
On the Freed iOS or Android app, account deletion is self-serve: go to Settings (gear icon) > Profile, then tap Delete account and confirm. You'll see a confirmation message right away, and we'll email you once deletion is complete.
On desktop or web, deletion isn't yet self-serve. To permanently delete your account:
Contact Clinician Support: Start a chat using the messenger icon in the bottom right corner of the page, or email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Freed account.
Confirm your request: We may ask why you wish to delete your account, in order to confirm the deletion request.
Account and data deletion: Once confirmed, the Freed AI team will permanently remove your account and all associated data, including your notes.
Key Notes on Account Deletion
Data removal is irreversible once completed: After your deletion request is scheduled, we'll email you before your data is permanently removed — signing back in before that date cancels the request. Once the process completes, your account and notes cannot be recovered, so please download or save any essential information beforehand.
