You can securely email the generated Patient Instructions using Secure Send. The Patient Instructions are generated along with your note, and can be edited just like any other part of your note.
How to use Secure Send
Step 1: Locate and review the Patient Instructions section
Expand and view the patient instructions, and make any edits that may be needed.
If you're using a Learned Template, you can make edits to the format of the instructions, then click the Learn Format button to teach Freed how to format future visits' patient instructions.
Step 2: Click the Send icon
Once you're ready to send your instructions, click the paper airplane icon in the section header, located by the thumbs and copy buttons.
Step 3: Confirm and send
Since Freed does not store any patient information or email addresses, you'll be asked to enter your patient's email address twice.
Click the checkbox to confirm the patient consent statement. Once entered and confirmed, click the Send button.
