Freed’s ambient AI scribe is now available on the VIM Healthcare Tech Solution Marketplace. Follow the instructions below to set up and start using Freed.

1. Enable Freed on the VIM Console
Ask your group admin, who manages VIM application access via the VIM Console, to enable and activate the Freed application for interested users. Alternatively, you can reach out to [email protected] to have it set up for you.
2. Find the Freed App
Once Freed has been added via the VIM Console, you will see a Freed tab in the VIM application. Launch the VIM app and open Freed.
3. Sign Up for Freed
Use single sign-on (SSO) registration to sign up for Freed via VIM. A 30-day free trial will automatically be created for you.
To confirm your account, set up a password—this will be useful if you decide to use Freed in other ways, such as recording visits on your mobile phone. Your Freed notes will be synchronized across all platforms.
Finally, personalize your Freed account to optimize the AI scribe experience for your workflow.
Important. If you are testing Freed as a group, the Freed subscription Group Admin should be the first to sign up. This ensures the fastest post-trial scaling and the best setup.

4. Record a Visit & Transfer Notes
Capture patient conversations with Freed to record visits and transcribe medical notes. Once transcribed, the notes will appear in your Visit List.
To push the medical note to your EHR, find the matching patient record, transfer the note, and review it before locking the encounter.
