Freed's Clinical Letters feature further reduces the documentation burden by allowing you to automatically generate letters, such as Sick Notes and Referral Letters, with just a click.
Clinical Letters are available on the Premier and Groups plans.
How to Generate Clinical Letters
1. Open a visit, click the '+' button at the end of the tab row, and choose Clinical letter
Freed allows you to quickly generate, review, and share a broad range of Clinical Letters.
2. Select the type of letter to generate
Freed will automatically pull any relevant aspects from your note to generate the letter.
Examples of clinical letters available in the dropdown include:
Referral letter
Sick note/excuse note, Caregiver note, Return to work note, Travel excuse note, Travel fitness note
Exam/academic extension, Jury duty exemption, Medical leave extension, Sports exemption/PE exemption
Parking privileges
Pregnancy-related accommodation
Return to school certificate
Sports/PE participation clearance

The letter will generate in a few seconds within the Clinical letter tab.
You can create as many letters as needed by clicking the + sign again.
The AI Chat is an excellent option for creating documents beyond those available on the Clinical letter tab, e.g. customized letters, after visit summaries (AVS), discharge plans, and other custom care plan letters and documents.
The AI Chat has access to all of the patient's Freed notes in a HIPAA-secure environment and can be customized by the clinician's prompt, whereas the Clinical letter generator cannot. Learn more about the AI Chat here.
Copy Clinical Letters
Similar to notes, a convenient copy button is located directly next to the letter.
Edit Clinical Letters
Click directly on the letter text to edit it.
