Freed's pre-charting feature helps you save time preparing for patient visits by summarizing their past visits and enabling you to ask questions about their history. As long as a patient has at least one previous visit in your Freed account, Patient Insights will be available when selecting the same patient for a new visit.
It's important to note that pre-charting details are not automatically integrated into new visit notes and must be manually included if needed. Freed is developing an upcoming feature called Patient Context in which previous visit details can be integrated into a new visit's note.
Please note that pre-charting features are only accessible for patients with at least one saved visit in Freed. If their previous notes are deleted, Freed is unable to summarize their chart.
Patient Insights
Enter a patient’s name to pull up their profile before the visit.
Freed generates a brief summary of the patient's visit history, along with top insights from their past visits. You can review the list of follow-ups from previous visits to plan for their upcoming session.
Ask about this patient
Click the Ask about this patient button to open up Freed's AI Assistant. You can about the patient and quickly get key details from the patient's previous visits.
You can ask about anything in natural language, such as what medications the patient is taking, recommended follow-up actions, or details about a procedure.
Record a Pre-Visit Note
Even before seeing your patient, you can begin recording details for this patient's visit.
Click the Capture button in the upper right corner and begin dictating or discussing anything you want to add prior to seeing your patient. This can include reporting lab or diagnostic results, or stating any preliminary details.
Click the Pause button to pause the recording.
When with your patient, click the Resume button to continue recording.
When finished with your patient, click the End button, and Freed will generate your note including all details you captured prior to pausing the visit.
Please note that this feature is supported when you begin recording, pause, resume, and end on the same device. Freed currently cannot start a visit on one device and end on a different device.
